Something only you can count
Operational data from your own business, if it is genuinely yours and says something a reader did not already assume. Aggregated, anonymised, and checked before anyone sees it.

Service
Coverage earned from Austrian newsrooms, through stories worth their time and correspondence with the person who would actually write the piece. Slower than everything else we do, and worth more when it lands.
What this is
This is not a distribution exercise. Austria's newsrooms are small enough that the same handful of people cover a sector, and they can tell within a line whether a pitch was written for them or sent to two hundred inboxes at once. So we work the other way around. We find the thing you know that they do not, and we make it easy to write about.
Usually that means shaping something you already have. Your own operational data, if it is genuinely yours and genuinely surprising. A position on a shift in your sector that nobody else will state on the record. A local angle on something the national press is already covering, which is often the quickest way in, because a desk running the story anyway needs an Austrian voice in it by this afternoon.
Then it is direct correspondence in German with the journalist who would write the piece, not a submission to a portal. Sometimes that produces a link. Sometimes it produces a mention with no link at all, which still does work for you in a market where reporters check each other's sources and AI systems read the coverage.
Nobody can promise you a placement here. Anyone who does is selling you something other than journalism.
What earns attention
These are the angles that work here. Everything else tends to be a product announcement wearing a headline.
Operational data from your own business, if it is genuinely yours and says something a reader did not already assume. Aggregated, anonymised, and checked before anyone sees it.
A view on a change in your sector that your competitors will only say off the record. Austrian desks are short of people willing to be quoted by name.
The fastest route in. A desk already covering something national needs a local voice in it, and the deadline is usually today rather than next month.
Being reachable, in German, within the hour a journalist is writing. Unglamorous, and it produces more coverage over a year than most campaigns do.
Honest fit
Choose this when
Look elsewhere when
Most clients run this next to editorial placements, so there is dependable output underneath while the unpredictable part is given time to work. Using PR as your only mechanism is a way to have a quiet quarter.
Deliverables
Before anyone is contacted, you get the story we intend to tell, who we think would run it, and an honest read on how likely that is.
The pitch, the supporting note, the data summary and the quote, written in German for the specific desk rather than translated from an English release.
Everything that lands is recorded, including mentions without a link, because those still do work for you in a market where sources get checked.
Who was approached, what they said, and what it tells us about the next attempt. Including the refusals, which are the useful part.
Questions
The expectations worth setting before a single journalist is contacted.
No. Any agency that guarantees editorial coverage is either paying for it, in which case it is not editorial, or telling you something they cannot control. What we commit to is the quality of the angle, materials written properly in German, and honest reporting on who said no and why.
More than people assume. Austrian journalists check who else has covered a company, procurement teams search for your name, and AI systems read coverage whether or not it carries a hyperlink. We record unlinked mentions as results, and where there is a reasonable case we ask for the link politely, once.
Usually less than you think, but it has to be real. Most of our work is finding the interesting thing you have stopped noticing because you look at it every day, then shaping it into something a desk can use. What we cannot do is manufacture significance that is not there.
Next step
Bring the data, the experience or the argument. We will tell you honestly whether an Austrian desk would run it, and what we would change to give it a chance.
