Healthcare
A multi-location private clinic network with a strong offline reputation, thin digital citations, and content that still sounded like a translated brochure.

Situation
Patients and referring clinicians knew the network in person. Online, the story was different. Visibility sat heavily on directories and thin location pages, while the condition and procedure terms Austrians actually search rarely returned the clinics as a credible editorial source.
Marketing had produced a large volume of German-language content that read like marketing: polished, generic, and medically cautious to the point of emptiness. Clinical leads did not trust it enough to put their names behind it, and patients did not linger on it long enough to book.
The brief could not become a doorway-page campaign. Ethical constraints, medical review and multi-location politics all mattered. They needed editorial citations on the intents that drive bookings — without sounding like spam dressed as health advice.
Programme architecture
Scrub the timeline to see how the work was sequenced. Each phase had a single commercial job.
Scope
Partnered with clinical leads to pick procedures and symptoms with real search demand and ethical room to publish.
Approach
We narrowed to conditions that drive bookings, rewrote for how Austrian patients search, and earned citations editors and clinicians could both accept.
Clinical leads helped pick procedures and symptom areas with real Austrian search demand and clear boundaries for what could be published responsibly.
Every piece was rewritten for how Austrian patients actually phrase questions, then medically reviewed. Translated marketing copy did not survive that process.
Citations went to Austrian health and regional titles that patients and GPs encounter — not another directory listing dressed up as coverage.
Location URLs earned mentions through editorial context tied to real catchment and clinical capability, not spun city pages.
Medical review sat in the production path, not as a late veto. That is the only way multi-location healthcare content ships without collapsing into generic claims.

In their words
Patients were searching for conditions we treat every day and landing on directories. Editorial citations on the pages that matter finally matched the reputation we already had offline.
