Professional services
A Vienna advisory practice with deep partner expertise trapped in PDFs and closed-door briefings, and a website that almost never earned a second citation.

Situation
The partners were known in the rooms that mattered. Online, the firm looked thinner than it was. Thought leadership lived as downloadable PDFs, internal briefings and occasional event talks — useful for people already in the network, invisible to prospects and referral partners searching Austrian business results.
Previous content programmes had either asked partners to write finished articles they never had time for, or outsourced generic commentary that the practice would not put a name on. Neither produced placements Austrian business desks would run, and neither supported the partner and practice pages that actually convert referral interest.
The firm needed a cadence billable people could sustain, citations on titles prospects and peers encounter, and a clear line from each placement to a specific partner or practice URL — not another homepage vanity link.

Structured interviews turned closed-door briefings into angles Austrian business desks would actually run.
Approach
We mined partner expertise through structured interviews, placed it on Austrian business desks, and tied every citation to a page that could take a referral.
Short structured interviews turned closed-door briefings into angles Austrian business desks would actually run. Partners talked; we wrote.
Thought leadership lived on third-party Austrian titles with clear partner attribution. PDFs remained supporting assets, not the discovery layer.
Homepage links were refused by default. Each placement supported a specific URL that referral conversations already used.
Themes were planned around capacity, not marketing ambition. Authority compounds when the practice does not burn out mid-quarter.
Review cycles were short and scheduled. The standard was approval of accuracy and tone, not asking billable partners to become journalists.

In their words
The expertise was always there. Putting it on Austrian business titles with clear links to partner pages is what finally made referral networks find us in search.
